Uni-Look: Did Holy Cross Copy BU?

Holy Cross Alternate Uniforms.... BU Copies?
I don’t know if any of you were at the game on Tuesday Night against Holy Cross (Recap), but one of the first things I noticed about the Crusaders was their uniforms. They seemed like an exact copy of the BU alternate jersey, except with different colors and a different name on the front. Does this seem weird to anyone else or is it just me?
As many of you probably know, the BU alternate uniform is a throwback to what the Terriers wore in the 70s, but at the same time not really messing with the “classic old-time hockey” feel of a BU jersey. The Scarlet and White have always had a distinct look (Red Wings), and the 3rd and 4th unis (away and home) have been a nice added look for BU. I’ve been a fan since they debuted 3 years (correct me if I’m wrong) ago.
So you can imagine my surprise when I stepped into Agganis Arena on Tuesday night to see Holy Cross wearing a uniform that was basically the BU alternate uniform, but in purple and white instead! I’m calling foul! I understand copying uniforms from pro to college, but this was the first time I really felt that one college team copied another in terms of uniform. Mind you, I thought it looked pretty sharp, and it was nice that BU wore their home alternates that night, but we had it first!
What did you think of the Holy Cross Uniform compared to the Boston University Alternate? What team do you think has the best uniforms?
