Game 27 Recap: BU 5, UMass-Lowell 3

While nearly being guilty of looking past the River Hawks, BU managed to pull away in the third period, defeating Lowell by a final of 5-3. Vinny Saponari would provide the heroics, putting away the game winner midway through the third period. However, with the way this game started out, the final score is actually quite deceiving. It’s been a few days (far too many) since the tilt between BU and BC at Agganis Arena, and I think it’s time that I provided a bit of a recap. This has to have been one of the best performances for the Terriers yet this year, controlling play throughout much of the game. Read more

Joe Pereria was the #1 Star
The fourth line provided the fire tonight as the Terriers took down UMass Lowell, 3-2 in front of a crowd of 4520 at Agganis Arena. BU would be playing from behind for quite a bit of time tonight, but managed to generate a good deal of pressure and get a few nice bounces. Read more

The Final Score at Conte
Yes, this game recap is extremely late but I thought I’d take the time to write it anywho. Last Saturday, BU earned a 3-1 victory over BC at Conte Forum. It was an excellent game, with BU controlling the play for the first two periods, and surviving a BC onslaught in the third. Read more
