Matt Gilroy's MVP Performance helped BU to #2

John McCarthy's Terriers are up to #3 in the Nation
With just a few games being played last week, the polls did not move around much. The Men’s team, following a win against UMass Lowell, moved up to the #3 spot in the nation. The women had a tough loss against BC at home, and moved down to #9 in the women’s poll. There was actually only one new entry into either poll’s top 10, and that was Wayne State on the women’s side. Zach Cohen has helped spark the Terriers to #7
The Boston University Mens and Womens hockey teams both remained ranked this wee, with the men rising up one spot to #7, while the women fell 2 to #6 in the nation. The men rose based on the strength of their two victories over Holy Cross (recap) and St. Lawrence (Recap). The women, on the other hand, defeated Boston College but lost to Yale, and thus fell.
