BU displayed a strong effort on Saturday night, with 11 different players registering a point, taking down St. Lawrence 4-1 at Agganis Arena. Kieran Millan made 24 saves in the win. John McCarthy led all scorers with 2 points, and Zach Cohen scored the game winner. Read more

Game #13 Preview: #8 BU vs. St. Lawrence
Continuing their OOC Schedule, #8 BU squares off against St. Lawrence at Agganis Arena on Saturday night. Again, the Terriers are the favorites on paper, but that has been the tale for the majority of the games that BU has played this year. Holy Cross Alternate Uniforms.... BU Copies?
I don’t know if any of you were at the game on Tuesday Night against Holy Cross (Recap), but one of the first things I noticed about the Crusaders was their uniforms. They seemed like an exact copy of the BU alternate jersey, except with different colors and a different name on the front. Does this seem weird to anyone else or is it just me? Read more

John Curry Makes his NHL Debut… and Wins!

John Curry won in his NHL Debut
Great news, BU Fans! It looks like one of our very own, John Curry, made his NHL Debut tonight, and got the win! This information is coming to me from Kat over at On Being a Sports Girl. It looks like Curry got his opportunity after Sabourin was pulled midway through the second with the Pens down 3-0. They rallied behind Curry to give him his first NHL win, 5-3.

Colin Wilson scored the Game-Winning Goal
The #8 Boston University Terriers managed to eke out a victory against Holy Cross on Tuesday night at Agganis Arena. Colin Wilson led the charge for the Terriers, scoring the game-winning goal and adding an assist. It was an extremely close contest, with Holy Cross making the most of their opportunities, and really taking the game to the Terriers. Read more

In the latest USCHO division I Mens and Womens’ Polls, the BU Men fell to #8 in the nation, while the women rose to #4. The men fell on two losses to Vermont, while the women defeated #6 Boston College. Read more

The Terriers took a huge hit in the polls this week after dropping two decisions to Vermont last weekend, falling from #2 down to #8. Allyse Wilcox has backstopped the Terrier Women to #5
The latest polls have been favorable to both the men and women’s hockey programs at BU. The men, after losing to UMass on Friday and defeating Northeastern on Sunday, dropped to #2 in the nation behind Minnesota, while the women rose up to #5. Read more

Kieran Millan recorded his first shutout
The currently #2 ranked Boston University Terriers wasted no time in turning the ship back on course as the Terriers fought to secure a 3-0 victory over #6 Northeastern Sunday night. The Terriers were fueled by an 18 save shutout by Freshman netminder Kieran Millan, and by sophomore Nick Bonino, who scored the game winning goal. Read more

Bruins Lose to Rangers in the Shootout

Dennis Wideman scored a shorthanded goal
Despite leading for the first two periods of the game, the Boston Bruins lost in the shootout 1-0 @ Madison Square Garden on Saturday Night, snapping their 5 game winning streak. With two important points on the line, the New York Rangers scored twice in the final frame to tie things up. Read more
